Basic, but Necessary: How to Style a T- Shirt 3 Different Ways! - ByEgreis

Fashion is an artistic way of expression and self-love, and there are definitely no rules when it comes to what you wear. Hidden in every closet is that basic, but secretly beautiful plain t-shirt. Everyone has it, but not everyone knows the magic behind a piece like that.

Basic pieces were made to be the foundation of our closets! You can wear them alone, or dress them up with literally anything. The beauty of simple designs is that the styling possibilities are truly endless! Here are three ways on how to style your favorite tee!

Style #1: French Front Tuck

This is a very relaxed and easy way to give your basic tee a bit more pizazz. Tuck your tee either in the front or on the side to give a bit more shape to your look!

Style #2: Tucked in

This is the “I’m a boss babe and I’m ready to WERK” kind of look. Super office appropriate and it’ll give off the vibe that you have your life together… or that you at least have enough time to tuck in your shirt and look put together. Same thing, right?

Style #3: Tied in the Front

This is definitely one of the trendiest ways to style your basic t-shirt, and also a great way to give your top that cropped look! This will give the illusion of a shorter torso and longer legs, and c’mon, who doesn’t want that?

How to achieve it:

If a basic tee isn’t part of your closet lineup yet, hopefully we’ve convinced you that you need one! It’s super important that you choose a higher quality fabric for a piece that you’ll be living in, so make sure to do your research before picking the one. Having a piece like this will make choosing an outfit in the mornings 10x easier! Just throw on your basic tee with your favorite pants and heels! For cooler weather, add a cardigan or blazer and you’re ready to slay.

Thank you so much for tuning in to this week’s talk and we’ll see you next week, babe!
